Each year since we were established in 1994, Potomac Digitek continues to set new business milestones. Our significant business measurements continue to improve company revenue is up, the client base is expanding, our staff continues to grow in number and skills, and we're offering new services and improved technologies.
From the beginning, our founders knew their model for an independent, service-based business was not typical for an Internet start-up. While others were gathering investment funds to develop a new-economy business, amassing substantial debt in pursuit of pent-up demand on the Net, or both we focused on delivering superior technology services to our clients.
Our efforts were rewarded as we have been able to maintain a debt-free, profitable business with double-digit revenue growth and enviable client retention. Just a few years ago, Web sites were just text and graphics. A few pages constituted a full-blown site. Now it's not unusual for sites to have hundreds or thousands of pages, numerous supporting programs, secure e-commerce capabilities, and the bandwidth needed to support a worldwide pool of visitors.
To meet these demands and to provide the broadest possible range of services for our clients, we've expanded our staff from just two employees to our current staff of 18. We've added programmers, graphic designers, and client support team members.
